Words to think about: An egg has 3 parts: the shell, the yolk, the white each having their own purpose and is still considered an egg. God also has 3 “parts”: God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit each having their own purpose and is still considered God. You pray to God and he then informs Jesus who then translates what God told him directly to the Holy Spirit who then interprets it directly and specifically to you. These are known as “aha” moments or coincidences in your life but they are actually revelations sent to you from God. Pay attention and open your mind (why not?) because through your faith in Jesus you are being guided and directed by your Father God. (read Proverbs 3:5&6)
Jesus said: “When the Spirit of truth comes, *The Holy Spirit, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears (from God) he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13)
*One definition of the Holy Spirit: “In Christianity the Holy Spirit is the One who guides a person to correctly interpret the word of God and he helps each person reach new levels of understanding. Since he knows each person perfectly and it is understood that people think differently, he can transfer information to people in ways that they would comprehend it.”
God says: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” (Isaiah 48:17)
FYI: Before Jesus left and ascended back to Heaven to be with his Father he gave us 2 commandments, not suggestions.
Jesus was asked, “Sir, which is the most important commandment in the laws of Moses?”
1) Jesus replied, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.
2)The second most important is similar:
‘Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.’
All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets stem from these two laws and are fulfilled if you obey them. Keep only these and you will find that you are obeying all the others.” (Matthew 22:36-40)
Bottom line:
- “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35)
FYI: In Christianity, when Christians say the phrase “we are all saved by the blood of Jesus” it signifies that you are saved from sin and its consequences (separation from God and not going to Heaven when you die) is achieved through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ’s life when he was murdered and crucified and his blood was shed on the cross. Saved by HIS BLOOD.
When you hear “by His stripes we are healed” it means that before they hung Jesus on a cross to die they beat, flogged and tortured him and that through the flogging and stripes left on his body (punishment of being whipped or beaten with a lash or rod and stripes specifically refers to the marks left on the body from such blows.) And we are “saved” from spending eternity with Satan and not spending eternity with God in Heaven because of the agony, pain, suffering and “STRIPES” he endured before he was put on a cross and hung to die for all of us.

The ultimate sacrifice for God to forgive every person on earth now and forever. This is offered to anyone who BELIEVES in Jesus and the reason that he came to earth from heaven. (Isaiah 53:5, John 3:16, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2: 8-9)
